Pertamina: Diabetes Care in Indramayu

Recently, PT Pertamina held blog contest Kerja Keras Adalah Energi Kita and  Diabetes Mellitus Care in Indramayu which is an activity of PT Pertamina concern to public health. Diabetes examination was conducted not only in Jakarta, but also in other regions around the operating units of national oil companies. One of them in Indramayu regency, West Java Indonesia

Basically, the public lacks awareness on a regular basis to check their own health levels. Hence, Pertamina provide an opportunity to the general public to check the health of diabetes mellitus-related illnesses. Said President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero)

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease with many complications and high cost. Also known as the impact of lifestyle diseases. But still preventable infectious. The important thing is people want to change habits to live a healthy life.

Despite all Pertamina workers and their families are entitled to health services, in accordance with medical standards, but it would be better if they can maintain good health. “If this can be done, besides useful for themselves and families, as well as for the company,” he said

Events Pertamina Caring diabetes mellitus, is expected to invite others to contribute in realizing the public health.  The event was held to coincide with the anniversary of PT Pertamina and blog contest Kerja Keras Adalah Energi Kita is in progress.

As General Manager of RU VI (Refinery Unit) Pertamina Balongan, Indramayu, Dadik Personal, initially in these activities only serve 10 thousand people, but the present to 10,433 people. They came from four districts with enthusiasm. Sub Balongan, Indramayu, Pasokan, and Juntinyuat. As for the whole Indonesia targeted 100,000 people, but that came about 151,000 people.
